Please see below recommended last lodgement dates for Christmas from Australia Post.
In the lead up to the busiest time of year, I'd like to share our recommended domestic and international parcel last lodgement dates to help them arrive in time for Christmas.
Christmas lodgment dates for most Australian states
We are recommending lodgment by the following dates for delivery within most states in Australia by Christmas (*excludes items sent to and from Perth and Darwin):
- Parcel Post: Tuesday 19 December**
- Express Post: Thursday 21 December
- StarTrack Premium and Express: Thursday 21 December

Christmas lodgment dates for sending overseas
You can find the recommended last lodgement dates for all our international destinations listed on our website.
For both domestic and international destinations, items sent after these dates will be delivered as quickly as possible, but they may not arrive until after Christmas.
